Inkscapes This series of abstract works uses real ink and gold artwork combined with a digital process to produce unique and vibrant pieces to celebrate the Irish landscape. The design is printed on a Gold metal plate and mounted onto a textured backing board. This is surrounded by a white textured mount (Matt). The combination of the smooth metal and textured mounts make this a very striking and sophisticated artwork. The design is printed in full colour on a Gold effect metal plate 4" x 4" and the outer mount measures 8"x8". The artwork is presented mounted with a backing board, all in a 100% biodegradable clear presentation bag. ARAN WALL STUDY This delicate-looking artwork is one of the studies of the walls on the Aran Islands. The greenness of the grass and the blueness of the sky is subtly blended into the wall. The manmade wall structure, using natural stone materials works seamlessly with nature to form a lattice of criss-cross walls throughout the island. The artist captures the randomness of the wall structure with the natural flows of the inks and the hues and tones of the greys, whites and other colours.
