Solid Brass Exterior Lorraine Knobs and Plates Set Solid Brass Exterior Lorraine Door Knobs and Plates Set. Originally patented in 1905 by PF Corbin the “Lorraine” pattern was  used at the end of the Victorian era and well into the Craftsman period. We have interpreted the original design into a lovely set of solid cast brass hardware. The set is composed of two back plates, two slip on knobs (one large one for the exterior, and one small one for the interior), a shaft that connects the two knobs by set screws, and two set screws. This set will work for predrilled doors, and is customizable below to suit your needs. The plates measure 2-3/4″ x 10-7/8″ The exterior knob measures 2-1/2″ in diameter and projects 2-1/2″ from the surface of the door The interior knob measures 2-1/8″ in diameter and projects 2-1/2″ from the surface of the door
