Brass Embossed Sash Lock Brass Embossed Sash Lock can be used either with casement or double hung windows. With double hung sashes the moving part of the latch would mount to the bottom sash and the keeper would mount to the top sash. The back plate of the keeper measures 2-3/8″ x 7/8″ and is a total of 3/4″ tall. The back plate of the moving part of the latch measures 2-3/8″ x 1-1/8″. The arm measures 3-1/4″ x 1″.
